WHO WE ARE
Highland Village Homeowners Association (HVHA) is a community-based organization dedicated to serving the needs of our residents. Our mission is to ensure that Highland Village remains a safe, clean, and friendly place to live. We are led by a team of dedicated volunteers who are committed to improving the quality of life in our community. Our website is a resource for residents to learn more about our organization, our events, and our services. We encourage you to explore our site and get involved in our community.

HVHA is governed by a seven-member board of directors. Board members are elected at the annual meeting in April. The term for a board member is three years. Board members are paid an amount equal to the annual association dues if they attend more than half of the board meetings. The duties of the board are to maintain the common areas/properties and enforce the conditions, restrictions, and by-laws of the Covenant.

The annual HVHA meeting is open for all homeowners in the neighborhood and is held digitally each April. The date and time of the meeting is announced in the spring newsletter and on the website. At the meeting, the board members will report on the previous year's board activities. Board member elections are held at this meeting. Self-nominations are encouraged! Homeowners will also have an opportunity to bring up any topic pertaining to the neighborhood.

The deadline for paying the annual association dues is December 31st of each year. These dues cover the maintenance of the common areas and operating expenses of the association. Approximately 80% of the dues pay for the snow removal service in our neighborhood. A full accounting report is published at the annual meeting and is available here for residents to view.
